Montecristo Double Edmundo Cigar At Cheap Price
Montecristo Double Edmundo Cigar At Cheap Price was presented at the 15th Habanos Festival in 2013, as the elongated version of the popular Montecristo Edmundo Cigar. Due to the original Edmundo’s popularity, Montecristo released two new sizes including the Double itself and its sibling, the Petit Edmundo Cigar.
Sporting a beautifully handmade Dobles vitola – it allows the classic blend of the Linea Edmundo to be enjoyed in a smoking time of just over an hour.
The Montecristo Double Edmundo is rich in colour and quality. The most prominent flavours of oak and leather are complemented by warming tones of cocoa.
This 2013 addition to the Edmundo range is a Doble, nearly an inch (20 mm) longer than the original Edmundo and slightly slimmer. A welcome addition to the line up., with a punchy, peppery flavour.

The Montecristo brand dates back to 1935, and one of its original sizes, the Montecristo No. 2, remains one of the world’s most popular cigars. (It was also Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year for 2013.) Sometimes old brands, successful or otherwise, could use some changes to add excitement, so Cuba’s Habanos S.A. created the Edmundo line extention to Montecristo in 2004. Fat and distinctive, Edmundo was an immediate hit, prompting new sizes such as the short and plump Petit Edmundo in early 2007 and this Double Edmundo (which is longer, but not fatter, than the Edmundo) in 2013. With gorgeous color, hints of oak and leather, the cigar seems to get better with each puff, culminating in a chocolatey finish.
In conclusion, the Montecristo Double Edmundo, at the expense of the size, returns a balanced and never intrusive smoke. Strength is always under control and evolution is appreciable. On the palate, the change of flavors is congruent with the evolution. It becomes slightly bitter towards the end.
